Description

The Wisconsin Snowmobile Safety Education course prepares riders to operate snowmobiles legally and safely on Wisconsin trails. Snowmobile safety certification is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and is required for many riders before they hit the trail.

This online, self-paced course covers Wisconsin snowmobile laws, trail signs and signals, safe riding techniques, cold-weather preparedness, and how to share the trail responsibly. You will learn to ride confidently while protecting yourself, your passengers, and the environment.

On completion you earn your Wisconsin Snowmobile Safety Certificate. Study from any device and finish at your own pace before the season starts.

  • Wear proper gear and pre-ride inspect the machine
